    My carry gun,and its story

Well guys a lot of you here have been following my Sega and long story short I'm carrying again and this is my current carry gun,it a Taurus 85UL in stainless finish along with the Desantis nemesis pocket holster I picked up for it today. For starters I was needing a new carry gun since my attorney is working on retrieving mine from the authorities, this brought me to my local gun shop in search of a new carry weapon.

As most of you know I've had thousands of dollars in legal fees and those fees along with the cost of daily living, left me only $300 in disposable income last month. so I figured if I could score a nice used snubby for cheap I'd be doing good and thats what led to the Taurus 85UL. I got it for $250 OTD so that left me $50 for ammo and range time,so I left with my new to me snubby and two boxes of .38 special FMJ ammo for $300,still within my budget. fast forward to today and its payday so I went holster shopping and got the desantis nemesis for $23 and I love this pocket holster after using it for most of the day for the first time.

I have to say the last couple of weeks carrying the Taurus I carried it IWB at 3:30 in a high noon bare asset rig,it disappeared under a Tshirt. I also picked up a box of federal 125gr nyclad JHP's for defensive ammo as i was carrying it with 158gr FMJ rounds the last couple of weeks. Anyways I'm really liking my new carry gun for what it is,a reliable, affordable defensive weapon. Its not a S&W or a Colt but its a well made gun with a good tight lock up,and while the cylinder exhibits a small amount of side to side play, the little Taurus shoots nice groups and is reliable. So here are some pics of my carry weapon and the story that led me to it.

I once had a 85 about 10-15 years ago...very stout gun, not the best trigger but acceptable for its intended purpose.

What is taking the LEOs so long to get your firearm(s) back to you?

    Would an attorney not help?

Thanks guys for all the encouragement and support it feels good to be back up and running again. Searcher 45,my legal issues are behind me and I just need to get my expungement going now,my carry permit has be reinstated for a few weeks now.

Restup99 my attorney is working on getting my guns back,he's sent out letters to the authorities informing them of the law and what is required in this case. So now its a waiting game he says I will get my guns back but its just a matter of when at this point.
