Has anyone seen these for sale yet?
If I am not in a hurry for my G19, is there any reason to not wait for this new version?
Sorry if this has been beat to death already. :boese51:

Definitely test one out, but none of the new changes appealed to me. I bought a Glock 19 with RTF2 and am very happy with it.

Matter of fact, no. Maybe I'm not in the loop like I think I am, but just for the sake of conversation.......think of the 4th generation Glocks as the full size versions only for a bit. Personally, if your hot on a new Glock, I'd actually try and find one of the RTF versions. It may be worth something in the near future. There may not be many of them left. Reasons not to wait for a 4th generation G19? Is there going to be a 4th gen G19?Quote:
Glock 19 Gen 4 - any retail sightings?
Thanks. I'll google Glock RTF.
Guns America has one NIB for $425 plus $25 for shipping.
I see the advantage of the RTF, I remember discussing it at one point in a shop now that my memory is jogged. Anything to help with slide dexterity for me would be a bonus.
So $450 plus a FFL fee then add night sights. That seems like a pretty good deal. Please disagree if you think so.
Nothing wrong with the GLOCK 19 3rd generation or 2nd or 1st. RTF might be nice, have not fired one with that grip yet...
the glock "standard" GEN3 is the RTF:

I have handled a Gen 4 G22 but not in the compact versions as it wasn't available. What I handled was an LEO model but it's the same gun. I didn't like the texture much. I can't describe why but it didn't feel good in my hand, I have no issues with the standard Gen 3 grip texture so that's what I prefer. I don't know, maybe it's me but I don't think they should have messed with things on the gun that were fine before.
Yes, thank you from me too.
I went and handled the G3 and G4 in a 40 cal comparable to the Glock 19. The Cabela's guys said that the G4 G19 was probably coming out in about a month.
For me, the new slide release is MUCH more ergonomic due to my smallish thumb length. Quicker and easier than the smaller one on the G3. So, for that reason alone I will go for the Gen4 G19 whenever it comes out.
Now, if they have the RTF2 type of slide patterning with a new G19 Gen 4 that would be perfect. :santaclaus:
you're very welcome. that's my gen3 RTF2 int he second pic. i really like that texture better as it affords a more secure grip. it's actually a little smaller all the way around than the GEN3 RTF too. better for my small hands
you can get the GEN3 RTF2's with the straight slide serrations now, glock's fazing out the curved ones. i like the curved one's better because they're deeper, and easier to grip (i only slingshot the slide)
the new GEN3 RTF2's:
