1500 rounds. What's everyone's recoil spring replacement regimen? Must you change both (or buy the entire guide rod assembly) or is changing the larger outer spring enough? Thanks in advance!
This has been a wonderfully reliable pistol, but I know small pistols are hell on springs and I want to have some spares...

Subject RE: Recoil Spring Replacement?
Ian,
Does this include replacing the recoil guide assembly or just the recoil spring?

We recommend changing the recoil springs in all of them about every 1200 rounds. Please email me back if you have any other questions.

Dang it, that's what I thought. Do you take apart the guide rod or just buy an entirely new assembly with the inner spring already installed?

$25 is pretty steep... I've got half a mind to "range run" just an outer spring replacement and see how that goes. What part of CT are you in, tokerblue?

If it's your carry gun, I would definitely replace both. You're only saving $15, which is around the price of a box of ammo...
I'm about 10 minutes north of Hartford.

$9.47 for 50 rounds of Federal here, but you're right. LOL

Nope, don't like the white "apizza" New Haven style and pizza is HARDLY something that would make me long for CT.
There's plenty of good pizza around here. Surprisingly, of all places, COSTCO pizza is really good...both in CT and AZ. I never would have thought to try it until it was highly recommended by friends...in CT!

This from the Kahr Talk site...
"So I called Kahr and talked to customer service today. He said that for the pm9 the recoil spring guide and recoil spring should be replaced every
1200 rounds "
when to replace parts - KahrTalk Forums
I'd replace both the springs.

That's exactly when my PM9 started having failures to return fully into battery issues.
I would recommend you get two sets of springs - one for "carry only" use, and another set for "range/practice" use. Make sure to label them so you don't get them mixed up.
