I have a friend who inherited his grandfathers .44 S&W. Grandfather was a cop for HPD and it has ivory handles that are inlayed with his badge number and HPD. It is plated, but in need of refinishing. Anyone have any idea what this might cost?
Nickle? You can go with nickle again or get it hard chromed neither is "cheap" but both will make it look good. Smith & Wesson offers refinishing, maybe something to take a look at. Keep in mind that refinishing may greatly decrease the value of that gun.
There is something about firing 4,200 thirty millimeter rounds/min that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
