Got my permit today only 28 days after my application was submitted! I was pretty pleased with that considering all the horror stories you hear about waiting for months. I live in northwestern NC, so maybe the rural county I live in helped in keeping the red tape to a minimum.

Congrats and welcome! That's quite a turn around, here in Kommifornia I waited over 5 months. There really is nothing like EDC. It becomes a bit unsettling on the days that you don't carry.
