Nighthawk here. I actually own serial # 117 just like the picture. Bumper and I have traded 1911\'s for a year now and I can tell you this is the one I\'m a keeping. The story is that the old guard at Wilson wanted try some new things and they were not crazy about the polymer KZ, thus nighthawk was born. Their guarantee of 1\" at 25 yards is not joke and bests Wilson\'s 2.5\" at 25 yards. I\'ve never had an autmatic like it. I can limp wirst it, or turn it sideways, it always fires. no jams no problems at all. the only thing I have changed is it seems to eject Wilson mags better than the Novak mags it comes with. Go find one lock the slide back, take the lock off and let it fly. Locks up like no other I was sold after the first time. :kay:

Actually the ribs on the top are the reason I bought the enforcer. It does not have them.

I don\'t know, APachon, I have never handled a titanium frame 1911. But I generally like steel. I think in the .45 the weight of steel helps control.

It is a smooth solid lockup that I have never experienced with any other 1911. :kay:

You guys are killing me. so I leave this evening for utah for a \"snowboard\" trip. I am thinking that I may place an order for a Talon sans top serration on slide. I may forego the Ti frame. Don\'t STI/SVI offer Ti frames? With my hands I have to go full size Govt model. Everything else feels compromised in my hands.

Thanks for the tip on the 47D mags. I will pick up a hanfdul of those. Right now we have a bunch of CMC-Power10 mags in the house.

APachon, you will not be dissapointed. I love mine. I agree with Bumper. I didn\'t consider the titanium frame. I like the heft of all steel. I did get the bull barrel and I like it better than the custom barrel.
