    Glock-36...Now my Glock-26?

I tried something different the last couple of days.
I am committed to my EDC, my Glock-36, and I love the gun and enjoy using it as my EDC.
My wife never carries her Glock-26...I ordered two Fist holsters for it. I received IWB/SOB and OWB strong side holsters for the Glock-26 in the mail a few days ago.
I thought I'd try carrying the Glock-26 for a few days...Wow! Even smaller than the Glock-36 and very comfortable. I did, however, wonder about having the ability to make 9mm holes :vs: the .45 holes...is that really much of a concern?
The Glock-26 is almost unnoticable for carry...I'm impressed, but I'm having a bit of trouble with not having .45 caliber...what do you think?

Note Added: I'm not really concerned with the ability of the 9mm perform needed SD work, I'm just so used to carrying Kimbers and my Glock-36 that it seemed odd to be carrying the G-26...actually, I had a few extra shots riding along.

    I sold a G30SF and I now carry a G19 and the wife carries a G26, with 127gr +P+ RA9TA's or 147gr HST's, I dont feel under gunned at all.

I sold the G30SF for a few reasons, 1. I couldnt shoot the 45 ACP nearly as much because the ammo is a little more than twice the cost (at Wally World, where I get most of my ammo). 2. Why would I send my wife out in the big bad world with a gun "I" wouldnt carry myself, if I am going to expect her to defend her life with the 9mm then so will I. 3. My wife and I can share mags if we end up in a SHTF situation.

I will own another G30 at some point but to be honest I am pretty happy with the G19 and I dont see myself replacing my it as my carry weapon any time soon , well other then wanting more guns of course.

You should know what I think. Holes exist where you put them. With any hole, there's displacement of something. I was issued, depended on, and relied upon a 45acp pistol during the most testing part of my life. Sometimes it's difficult to break away from that notion of larger is better. Thing is with age, we become more refined and tend to focus more on the important things. Larger is better only in the departments we don't focus on. Comes down to shot placement which we've all heard over and again. It's the plain and simple truth. Physics? Well, 9mm is my minimum for E=MC˛. The 40S&W seems right for me at this time and I don't see that changing any time in the near future. I'm still going to hit where it's most effective no matter what I have at hand so long as I can use it effectively, and that means hitting the mark. We've long ago dispelled the myth of one stop shots, so lets get on with it, and shoot until we've stopped what it is we need to. Another bean on the hill means nothing if we're under the hill. Make the most of everything...what you're given, and what you understand. These are the tools you'll work with for the best outcome toward your main goal. The principles cannot be ignored. It's so simple that it's way too often overlooked.

I started carrying my Glock 26 and Keltec PF9 here recently and definitely don't feel under gunned.

I sold a G36 a while back and got a new G26 and that should tell you what I think.
Life is fine with a 9

Got a 19 and a 26, along with a 36. Right now today...I like the 26 best, but that Big BOOM on the 36 is growing on me.

I'd be interested to hear about your range experience with each - accuracy or comfort/speed of shooting, that kind of thing.

More bullets or bigger bullets......what would your shot up target look like? I am amazed at the discrepancy of my shooting patterns with different guns.
