Picked out my gun today.
Me and my husband went to a lgs today where I found just what I had been looking for. It is just the right size for me. Its an older gun, a S&W 60 no dash 38 special from 1974. It didn't look like it had ever been shot. The guy at lgs said it belonged to a court bailiff. It's a very sweet gun. I love it and my sweet husband put it on layaway for me. Thank you tkruf.

The older Model 60 revolvers can be very nice, indeed.
Congratulations! Enjoy the new defensive gun.

I still carry and shoot a S&W Airweight that I purchased as a CC gun back in 1969. Still looks and shoots great. Enjoy your new pistol.

It's always a good moment to find the gun that makes you say "That's the one for me." Congrats.

Being a "wheel gunner" & Instructor, IMHO you can not go wrong with a S&W 60

Nothing says love like putting a S&W model 60 on lay away for your sweetie.

Well that one would not have lasted long at the store, so I had to do it. Besides I couldn't help it.

Good choice
Your new gun sounds similar to mine. It is a sweet little gun.
