No clips for me...I want leather over the trigger, but that's just me.
Agreed. I think those gun clips are the second worst idea ever for a concealed carrier. First being the CCW badge...
I've been thinking about the NAA mini revolvers, nice to hear people's opinions of them. Seems most people are happy with them as long as you take it for what it is and expect nothing more.

I'm with Gideon on this. They are cool guns. I've shot a friend's and I want one of the Mag/LR combo guns for fun but I can't imagine a situation where I could carry an NAA but could not carry a compact .38 or .380 which IMO would be infinitely preferable in a SD situation.
YMMV. ;)

I have two and I have carried them for many years in a pocket holster.
Some people will start trouble and then try to make it look like its your fault....

I've always like the NAA minis. I have a Black Widow which I use with the accessory large grip and it is nearly always in a pocket. The .22 Mag is a great cartridge for up close. It's not a primary carry gun for me....I have lots of other, larger guns in bigger calibers. But...I find that I carry it when there just isn't room for anything else and if slips into a pocket without a second thought.
Now that they have introduced the Sidewinder, with a flip out cylinder like most other revolvers, I will probably get one of those too. Guess I'm hooked.

One of them is a Freedom Arms mini and the other is a NAA.

The more I see of these things, the more they intrigue me. Mostly, I just feel like it would be interesting/entertaining to shoot, but I'm sure I wouldn't mind having one loaded and ready even if it isn't a tertiary BUG.
That Sidewinder seems pretty interesting. Wonder if they make speedloaders

NAA Mini 22mag revolver?
I have a NAA .22 mag. It is a derringer style pistol, designed for close quarter use, It recoils like a .38 and has muzzle velocity similar. I use it for a deep cover weapon when a 9mm just stands out, even concealed. It is NOT a range gun for sure.
Wife has one also. Good for walking the dogs.

...I have only handled them, not shot...in .22LR, .22Mag, and .17...my impression of them all was that they were too small for me to handle quickly for successive shots...I carried the High Standard .22 mag derringer as a backup back in the 70s before I got my stainless Chief...and bemoaned only two shots...(never needed it even once)...I'd like to see them or someone else make something on the order of the High Standard DAO derringer...with a cylinder of 4-5 rounds in .22 Mag...quick, potent, and ultra-concealable...they were headed in the right direction with the larger grip model...if they'd make the DAO...they couldn't make enough to keep up with demand...
