New piece for my carry rotation....

So I took the plunge and bought a NIB Sig P225 from Top Gun Supply. All German, triple serials, German proof-marked, but no date code on the chin (2009 manufacture). Trijicon night sights. Supposedly the last P225's to be imported or manufactured, or some such (that wasn't a factor in my decision - The "NIB" and "single-stack 9mm DA/SA folded carbon steel slide Sig" were the main selling points for me; This one will be shot quite a bit)

I have fallen in love w/ Sig DA/SA autos. If this P225 proves to be anywhere near as reliable as my Euro P220 in 9mm, then I will be looking for a Sparks Versamax-II pronto, ordering up some spare mags, and maybe (MAYBE) even selling one of my range-toy P7's.... But the P7M8 will remain my EDC for the time being, and foreseeable near-future.

Should be arriving at my preferred FFL today, and I will likely pick it up on Saturday... Will post pics ASAP... Or you could check it out on TGS website:

Sig Sauer P225, Nitron, DA/SA, Night Sights, 9mm - NEW - Top Gun Supply

A+ for TGS customer service... There was an issue w/ my FFL not getting their copy faxed over in a timely fashion, and Michelle at Top Gun Supply contacted them in order to expedite the shipment of my new baby...

    I'm a happy camper...

    Regards,

    Bones

The 225 is an excellent gun...You did well. They are also selling them over at Summit Gun Broker.

Picked her up yesterday and after a quick clean and lube, ran 109 flawless rounds through it... Mostly WWB 115 FMJ, but also about a dozen Federal HST 124 +P... Slide to frame fit is nice and tight - Zero play or rattle... Love the feel and pointability of it, and it really fits my hand like a pistol is supposed to...

As soon as I can get some pics, I will post em up...

Now to spend more cash on spare mags and a nice Sparks IWB...

    I couldn't be happier w/ this gun...
