G19 Rough Texture Finish- Anybody carry?

I've had a G19 for years and have fired many rounds thru it. >4000. I handled a G19RTF at the local gun shop yesterday.

My question- Does anybody carry a Glock (any Glock) with the rtf? I was wondering if that bumpy surface rubs skin or catches shirt fabric?

I have a Gen 3 G-23 which I can carry most of the time. Though I don't have the rtf I did read that it will catch and stick to some fabrics. I think the jury is still out on this still.

I don't have RTF2, but I do wear an undershirt between the gun and body-not sure how much that would help but I damn sure wouldn't carry RTF2 without the undershirt.

Same results here, Wear an undershirt and have had no issues. Would not recomend bare skin though.

Ditto on the undershirt. I prefer the RTF, but if needed, the surface can more easily be altered to your liking. my $0.02

Bear in mind that there has (is) several versions of RTF out there, and I can't quote what they all are. The original version was very rough (you'll hear complaints about it for years on the forums), and some LEOs complained that it worn through their uniforms. The current production version is toned down, and I don't think it's much of an issue wear wise. I've felt both, hated the rougher one (I felt I'd have to wear a glove on a long range session) but like the newer, toned down version.
