    Jogging gun

I've been trying to find a new jogging gun. I've been carrying a Glock 33, which is easily small, but on the heavier side.

After searching, I've settled on the Ruger LCR. Size is fine, weight is *amazing*, and I'd like a revolver.

I found two shops here that have it for $479, and Academy has it for $450. This weekend is the gun show, so if I can get it for less, I'll grab it there. Wish me luck!

That is a good choice. It is light. I paid $450 or so for mine I think.

Keep the Glock-33 and buy a belly band...much cheaper!
On the other hand, another gun isn't a bad idea.

I say switch to biking (I hate running) and keep the 33

I can't imagine carrying a pistol on anything over a 2 mile run. Heck, one 5 mile runs the small can of OC spray I carry clipped to my inside pocket starts to bother me.

I carry a Taurus 738 TCP on anything over 5 miles and it works fine.

Like anything else, the method of carry is far more important than what is carried. I've done plenty of 10+ mile humps with an M16; but, I chose my P32 jogging around the neighborhood.

I jog with my G26. I find the 26 lighter than my 27 and 33. I'd say stick with a Glock.

I have to run, it's a part of my PFT.

I carry the g33 in a bellyband. I just think the revolver would be a nice addition.

Another vote for the Glock 26. I carry mine in a fanny pack at the gym and when I jog and bike.
