Proven combat techniques may not be flashy and may require a bit more physical effort on the part of the shooter. Further, they may not win competition matches, but they will help ensure your survival in a shooting or gunfight on the street. ~Paul Howe
No problems to report with my M&P45, and I don't even have tje Apex sear in it.
Don't believe what you hear and only half of what you see!
I have been using M&P Pistols for around 4 years. 20,000 rounds through a .40, 10,000 through an 9MM and 2000 through a 45 full size. The 9 and 40 from the first 20,000 produced. They have worked great. Apex sear and safety plunger are a definite improvement for trigger action.

I had a mag drop problem a couple of years ago and sometimes the slide would lock back with one round in mag. So I sent the gun to S&W and they fixed both problems and now hundreds of rounds later never had any problem. And I mean not one problem. Would I buy the gun again...absolutely! Here's the best part of S&W cutomer service: I was not the original owner of the gun and S&W still fixed it with no charge to me.
I own two M&P's and have not even had a FTF or anything. They give me the same confidence in reliability as Glock's always have.
Ccccccc what? Ccccccccccc Hawks!
I bought one for my wife in the compact 9 and she loves it. I trust it as much as you can trust a piece of machinery
