Already planning my next Glock purchase
If I can get of work in time I am going to grab my new Glock 26 tomorrow. Whenever I buy I gun it always makes me think about what I will by next. I'm thinking about a Glock 21. It seems like it would be nice to have my primary CCW and primary home defense pistol both have the same exact function and feel.

There is beauty in consistency.
G30SF, G19 & G26 (G21 will be added at some point)

I'll give you more to think about Rollo...consider a G17 and/or a G19. You'll have consistency in ammo and recoil. You'll have identical function and feel. You'll also have the ability to use the 17/19 mags in the 26.

I would never try to talk anyone out of a G21, but I'll go along with Martial Archer. Unless you really want the Big Dog .45, go with either a G19 or G17. Same grip, same "feel". Up-sizing the same caliber is one of the best design qualities of the Glock concept.
Now, that being said, I don't think there is a better feeling than 13+1 of .45 acp on the night stand with the night sights glowing in the quiet darkness.

I love my G21. Great gun and feels oh so good in the hand!
He needs a little brother though, so I feel a G36 in the works.

I agree on keeping the same caliber for multiple guns. Very convenient!
The only problem is when you do switch calibers, you will HAVE TO GET multiple guns for that one too!

I have 3 Glock 9's and now have a G22 RTF2 on lay-a-way at Gander Mountain.
I guess that I am not done buying Glocks yet!
Where will it end!?!?!?

If you get the 17, you do know that both it and your 26 can also make use of the G18 mags which are 33 rounds.

Good Idea but I would go with the 17 or 19...you can use the same ammo and big boy mags in the little gun. 9mm in a good SD round will do fine for HD.

Ditto again.....and you always have the larger mags to use in the little brothers.

I was going to acquire a stable of Glocks at one time, but then I decided variety is the spice of life. I don't own 4 of the same cars, and I don't want 4 of the same guns.
