    H&K USP Question

I was researching H&K prices on gunsamerica. The 40cal's are significantly cheaper than the 9mm and 45's (average $450 on the 40 vs $650 on the 9mm/45's) Why is this? Is it a supply/demand thing? Also are there .357 sig barrels available for the USP 40?

    Tangosirra...

go to www.gunsamerica.com and plug in "under $500" and "H&K pistols". There are 2 or 3 in "very good" condition that will come up.

Is the USP .40 full size or compact?

I have noticed in the past that the compact USP .40 seems to sell for more (used) than the full size. But I believe the price is similar in new versions of the gun. Were you talking about full size or compact in your posting?

Why are the used 40s cheaper? Supply - I see somewhat regular LE tradein offers from distributors and it's always .40s.

Also among the 40 USP owners I've known, all at some point have switched to the USP in 9mm or .45.
