I have a 229 SAS in .40 and I love it. The short reset trigger is pretty good, The double action pull was very heavy but an 18 pound Wolff mainspring fixed that. Overrall a great gun though.
I have a friend that does, and he praises it as one of the best guns he's ever had. He's pretty picky and anal, so that's saying something.
Nice looking weapon!:yup:
Its really hard to go wrong with a sig....
I have 16 different Sis including their 1st custom shop offering (245) run of only 75 pcs. I carry a Sig 220 my familys life is worth it and I am certain of its reliabilty when tshtf.
I really would love to have a Sig 220 w crimsontrace grips, the price seems right.
My dad has a P220...it's a great gun!
All the SIG 9mm's I have had were flawless.
I now have the 2340 (.40 cal)and it is as good as the rest were.
I don't know anyone personally who has had a lemon .
Mine is not the SAS, but I absolutely LOVE my P220R. It's the finest pistol I've ever fired.
Is it used? It must be at that price with a CT. Beautiful thing. You'll have to get a Pure Kustom holster for it!!
Pure Kustom holster....I need to check into that.
I had a P220 Compact SAS. It was a great gun. While the DAK trigger isn't for me, it is the smoothest double action I've ever handled. It felt like a really good revolver trigger. Even pull all the way, and timed to the hammer perfectly.
I've got a P220 Carry SAO on my hip right now. Basically the same gun without the melt job with a Single Action Only trigger and a beaver tail. It is my favorite gun. A custom shop P220 normally goes for $850 - $950. If that is new, with Crimson Trace grips, it's a steal.
