Huh? Are you asking about a specific custom build or do you have one to share?

Plenty of pics of customized SP101s at Gemini Customs LLC - Custom 1911 Firearms .

I have a couple of SP101s customized by Jack Weigand, his Tame the Beast package, minus the porting. He is out of the custom 'smithing business, but Marc Morganti of Gemini does what Jack Weigand did, including the Hybra-porting, if one wants it. My Weigand guns' exteriors have quite a bit of wear; pocket and ankle carry are not kind to weapons.

I later bought another SP101 snubby, with a hammer spur, because sometimes (rarely!) cocking a revolver is handy, and so I could use it with a shoulder rig that has thumb break retention. This one is still factory stock.

I later acquired a 4" SP101 chambered in .32 H&R. I figure it will be a handy field gun if/when I live in a more rural area someday. This one is not custom, of course, either.

My latest SP101 has the 3.06" barrel, and the only "custom" touch is a factory spurless hammer I dropped into it. I found this hammer on evilbay several years back, when they still allowed such gun parts to be listed.

Pics? Maybe later. I still struggle with digital photography. My avatar pic is one I borrowed from the internet, a firearms dealer photo of a sixgun I bought from them. It is a GP100, of course, not an SP101.

Here is mine, added Badger grips, polished the sharp rough edges. When I get more in the gun fund I will send it to Gemini Customs, bot for now this is it. The holster is from Lobo Gun Leather.

It ain't "custom" but it is shaved/melted. Bought the gun just to file on it, and yeah it shoots and carries well. It's on my hip about half the time lately.

Thanks. I like it a lot.

Bought it for the wife to take on hikes to the foothills etc (better than a 9mm). I been carry it around the property lately, way easier than the 4" GP100.

It's when you round-off or soften the edges of the firearm with a file and such.
