Now the the Range Report (Round counts are a bit off):

(For reference- I do not aim at the center of the 10, I aim at the middle of the upper third of the 10. I do this because I prefer to shoot at center mass of the average height for Americans, not a 5'5 person!)

    Normal Stance- 24rds @ 7yds

Normal Stance- 24rds @ 10yds (You'll notice a few rounds upper right over the shoulder- I was pulling the trigger too hard).

    Combat Axis Relock "Extended"- 12rds at 4yds + 12rds at 6yds

Combat Axis Relock "Extended" - 24rds @ 7yds (Picture sucks)

    C.A.R. "Extended" - 12rds @ 10yds

That it is a great guess.

But yes, it was 100% reliable. I fired a total of 112ish rounds. 62rds were Russian-made Brown Bear 115gr FMJ and the other 50 were Magtech 115gr FMJ.

I was surprised that my accuracy was as good as it was with the C.A.R. "Extended" Stance. That's the first time I've ever shot that way. I was firing 4 shots in a row at 21 feet, with all in the 9 and 10. I can rarely do that standing still with my XD45 at that distance

It definitely is a very smooth gun, and I am very, very happy with my purchase. (The rebate offer helps, too, as S&W will be sending me two 17rd extended mags )

Yeah I got 4 12 rounders complete with the grip extensions and two 17 rounders! I love that S&W just builds a pierce like grip for you already.

Did you get these X-Grip - Smith-Wesson M&P Compact - Top Gun Supply for your 17rd mags?

Accuracy ALWAYS WINS! So carry what you can hit with.

I see, I see. I'm going to buy just one, so when I carry I will have the 12+1 mag in the gun on my back and the 17rd mag in my pocket with the grip extension. They carry them at Scottsdale Gun Club out here, but they go for $25. I may just buy 2 online instead of 1 from them...

Fired 150 rounds again today, bringing the total up to 262 round without an FTF. So far, so good!

I should bring up, however, that the one of the guys who was there today asked me why I shot the way that I did (Center Axis Relock). He went on and on, and he told me that he had never heard of CAR or Paul Castle. I really didn't know what I was talking about since I was new to the style, and he really did which made me come across as an idiot. That doesn't happen very often... I'm gonna have to train in the actual system sometime, that way I know what I'm talking about and have the ability to do it...

CAR is pretty interesting, but as with anything there are trade offs. For one I don't like the fact that by facing side ways, one shot could penetrate multiple organs if hit. There is no real protection from the side. The other issue I have is that I never see people practice this from a holster draw. I guess I would have to look a bit more into it. It looks like it may be tough to be real accurate past 5 yards.
