    My New Addition

Really glad I picked this up...missed my P32 so much after selling it that I needed to upgrade with a P3AT almost two years later! Shot great out of the box. I'll give a range report when I can put the appropriate time in.

Assuming that is a G2 then I have little doubt it'll be very reliable. Excellent small pocket option.

I sold my G1 a year ago - got a bit tired of its fussy eating habits!!

Yes, Chris, it's a G2. I held off a while until the good reviews started coming in. BTW---thanks for the pic advice!

During my every 2 week PM's that I do on my carried weapons I always take the extractor off and clean under it. Then reinstall making sure that the little screw is tight. Carring in pocket subjects the weapon to all kinds of crud.

Congrats on purchase of your new weapon. With the proper treatment I believe the P-3AT's can become a great pocket primary(under the right conditions) or BUG. ---------

i got 2 gen and it has given me many problems. i have 600 round down range and it has been work. replaced two extractors sets, one trigger spring and had to do the f&b twice. both extractors tips broke and the trigger spring broke. kel tec was on the spot sending me new parts. the gun had fte problems with any and all ammo that i used, no matter the brand/type.

at this point i feel my p3at 2gen is about 98%. i am still working on trying to get it at 100%. other peoples that have them have not had any problems, i must got a gun that was made on Monday.

at this time i can get two mags off without any fte. i know i should be happy with this, but i am not. my goal is to get through a day at my range without any. one box of ammo is not hard to ask for, is it? the p11 that they make will just keep on shooting and shooting, just like a glock.

i love this little gun as a "bug" and with the belt clip it is eazy to carry. sometime i carry it as my primary (back to the two mags).

Sorry to hear about yours Frank - I really had thought the G2's were pretty much on the button now.
I must got a gun that was made on Monday.
No - that'd be a Friday evening gun - all the guys wanna go home for weekend and so rush the job.

I daresay tho Monday could be bad also - if too many hangovers

Good luck getting your P3AT to run better Frank. Sounds like a lot of love has already gone into her....not sure if I would have the patience. "Knock on wood"...mine is running great so far.
