    Just got a Kahr PM40

Three days ago I ran across a barely used Kahr PM40 at a good price and decided to get it. The range let me put one mag through it first because I was concerned about reliablity and recoil. Reliability was perfect (although I will need 2 to 3 hundred more rounds to trust it) and recoil was not as bad as I had heard and expected.

I was more accurate and comfortable with it than I was with my GLOCK 26. I will now me selling my GLOCK and saving up to get a SIG 229 or 226 in 40cal.

I like that!~I'm a Kahr P9 owner....great guns. That should make a great carry gun, and then you will have the full sized to change it up. Glad you are happy with the purchase. There are a ton of new/used Glocks out there....you can always get another.

Yeah so far I love it. And field stripping is way easier than I thought it was going to be. The 1st couple of times I needed something to push out the slide stop but I can strip it without tools now.
