It slipped right through my hands!

Went to one of the not-so-local gun stores today. Just browsing.
I've had my heart set on a Kahr PM9 w/blackened slide for a while now.

So the pinklady and I walk in, and we're looking through the glass counter case at the semi-autos. My eye's are hunting for the Kahr's.
Ahhh, here we go. Lets see...CW40... that's it?... I keep looking further down the counter to my left. There stands a fella with an open gun case on the counter and in it is a Kahr PM9 with a blackened slide.

He's talking with the store clerk. I see paperwork on the counter. Oh no, he's buying it.

So, there's a break in their conversation, I ask, "uh..can I take a look at that?"

He said, "This?, no, I just bought it." Then he grins and says, sure, checks the chamber and hands it to me.

So of course I drooled all over it. Worked the slide, checked out the grip, how it felt in my hand.

Then out the door it went !

Those things are hard to find, and this was the exact model I wanted.

Did the guy behind the counter offer to order one for you? Or hold one for you the next time a shipment comes in? Get your number and call you when another comes in?

I just placed an order for one and have an RCS holster on the way. Mint is going to wear XS Big Dots.
