Sig P250 Sub-Compact: Any first hand knowledge?

Lately I've been looking into 9mm compacts such as M&P9c and
SR9c and then the other day I came across the Sig P250 sub-compact at my local Academy Sports. It has really caught my eye and has presented me with quite a quandry 'cause I thought I was pretty much set on the M&P9c.

Does anyone have firsthand experience with this gun that they would be willing to share? I have only handled it and it seems to be calling my name. I've researched the Sig website and printed off specs but would like to hear from someone who may own, or have owned, the P250 sub-compact.

I got rid of one for an M&P and have not looked back. I just could not get used to the DAO long trigger pull on the P250.

My husband has the .40 compact (not the sub). To me, it seems easy to shoot accurately and has a smooth action. The magazine release is easy to get to without a big hand.

It is nearly impossible to find holsters for. XD's work so maybe the xdsc would work for the one you are asking about.

I like his so much I am thinking about getting one in 9. I've shot the 9 as well and it's really nice.

The only criticism your going to find out there is "I just could not get used to the DAO long trigger pull on the P250", as the other poster wrote.

To me, I started shooting with a revolver and used a tricked out S&W model 10 in double action mode for steel plate competition for many years. The trigger on the P250 is much better than that, and that gun saw over 10,000 rounds.

If you try the trigger and like it, buy it with confidence. Here's what I like about
it:
Light weight
very easy to conceal
13 round capability
double strike capable
no unnecessary controls... carries safely with hammer down
very accurate
handles recoil very well
comes standard with night sights
It's been 100% flawless with all types of ammo

Need more?...........it will also take the longer magazines (15 rounds) of the Compact model, but it will stick out the bottom a bit.

I could not have phrased it better! I love my p250

I too sold my P250 for an M&P. I couldn't get used to the trigger on the Sig, and after shooting the M&P much better, I made the switch and haven't looked back. I still want a P220 someday though.
