Custom built BEASTBOB is finally done!!

A number of you wanted to see the final stage of the Beastbob build, and here it is. The slide work and final jeweling of the small parts is complete and the only thing left to do to it is to make the smoky Amboyna Burl grips that will be on it. I won't do that until it is in my hands for handfitting of them.
    Short review -
My friend Dave Severns of Severns Custom ( https://severnscustom.com/Home_Page.html ) took my dreams for my 2007 Dan Wesson CBOB and turned them into reality. I couldn't come up with an idea that he didn't just say "Yeah Sarge, I can do that" to. He's a true master of his craft! Everything about this pistol has been changed or at least touched and refined, inside and out. All new and hand tuned "guts" and the outside speaks for itself. The finish is Dave's own proprietary Hard Hat metal treatment (not a coating). Blacker than black and beautiful. This is truly a one of a kind pistol now.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the pics.

As for the snow in the pics, it was 20 some degrees yesterday in the High Sierra when Dave took the pics.

I just drooled all over my keyboard!

Even if someone doesn't like 1911s, he or she is sure to covet that pearl! That is one 1911 that truly rocks.

Great looking weapon and great photos. Let us know how it shoots.

    Sarge43,
Dave did a excellent job on your DW. Beautiful!
I've been thinking about the "Hard Hat" treatment for my CBOB.

The only “problem” that I can see with that 1911 is that it is way too beautiful to even shoot (not to talk about carrying it)

Thank you gentlemen. Dave is truly a master at his craft, that's for sure!
How does it shoot? Well, here's a pic of Dave's shooting buddy holding the Beastbob with it's paper target prior to switching the front sight for the proper height. I think it's a nice grouping.
Dave totally reworked all the interior "guts" too. I can't wait to feel it.
