    G22 RTF2 slide serrations

I have a new G22 RTF2 that has straight, vertical slide serrations. I thought that all of the RTF2 models had the fish scale looking serrations. The slide, frame and barrel serial numbers all match. Do I have a transitional variant? Has anyone else ever seen this on other RTF2's?
Maybe it is a rare and valuable variant
    Thanks.

What you have there is the NEW RTF2. The original with the curved serrations is no longer being produced. I think Glock got too much heat for the "wild" design.

If you find one of the originals and have a few extra bucks, pick it up and pack it away for a few years. It should be a nice collector's item in 15-20 years.

    Well that stinks
I didn't notice that slide was different from the others, they must have had old stock mixed in with the new. I know that I handled at least one of the curved serrated slides that day in the store (I had my gun on lay-a-way for the past 2 months). I actually liked the new serrations and wanted the RTF2 for that reason...at least that was one of the reasons. But since there were a few of that model in the store and I picked that one after handling all of them, it must have been meant to be. Must have felt right or better, subconsciously.
Either way, I will be shooting it for the first time sometime this week.

    Thanks.

Yet Springfield used vertially the same design on the XD(M) and no one gave it a second thought. Seems like some are just looking for anything to naysay with Glock.
