Some PPS pics. PPS and XD widths etc...

well. I never post pics. I always wanted to know the width difference between the XDSC and the PPS, but couldn't find much on it. Anyway, the max width of the XD is 1.215 compared to .91. So, its around 5/16" thinner. Of course, you cant get something for nothing. With the slimmer grip w/o the pinky extension youve got 6+1 with the PPS and now 13+1 (new 9mm XD mags). The 7 rounds PPS mag buys you a pinky rest, but I go 6+1 because its so darn easy to conceal and the finger grooves help grip the gun. I you have large hands, The PPS may feel too small. The larger backstrap may help. I liked the feel of the smaller backstrap. Anyway...This is not a "which is better" post. It is just a post that shows the difference in widths and capacity of two guns. These are my 2 favorite sub compact carry guns. I do like the large white dots on the PPS sights.

Thanks for the pictures! The PPS is so thin. I have been looking at one for a while now, and I am afraid that I will be “forced” to get one

The slimness and concealability of the PPS are some of the best features. It disappears inside my waist. The soft recoil and accuracy are two more pluses. I particularly like the choice of mag sizes that allows the grip to be customized to one's needs. As so many owners have testified, once you shoot one you just have to love it. In its 3rd year, it's a clear winner from Walther. I got mine only 3 weeks ago and I recommend it highly. I wish others could experience it.

So thin compared to the XD. I'm not sure why there isn't a larger market for polymer frame singe-stack pistols geared towards concealed carry.

I have been looking at them for a while and really want one. I am trying to sell my project car now so I can go get one! I am a rather slender/short guy and really like how easy it is to conceal. Great pictures too. My first carry gun was an XD-40sc and I really liked it but it was a bit think for my frame.

the PPS are 0.99th of an inch wide! that is crazy thin!.. makes for a great light weight carry gun.

Accuracy ALWAYS WINS! So carry what you can hit with.
