Throw in pocket or waistband gun

What is the "grab and go" handgun for those quick runs to the store when you don't want to thread a holster through your belt? I'm thinking something that can be shoved into the waistband (with a IWB clip-type holster)or pocket-carried. I'm looking for a reason to get a wheelgun(I would never appendix IWB one of my Glocks or 1911's)that I can do this with and throw a couple speed-strips in a front pocket..............and off I go!

A 642. It is the king of "throw in your pocket to go to the corner store" guns.

No holster needed with a barami gripped j-frame.

Kel-Tec P32 in an Uncle Mikes pocket holster. Looks like a wallet in sweat pants.

I use paddle holsters for my pieces. Takes about 10 seconds to arm myself for a "quick run to the store". Of course, if I'm dressed, I'm usually armed, even around the house/yard, so the point is moot for me.

    Thanks, cg.

    Should've done it myself.

    J frame airweight

I like a S&W 642 airweight in the pocket for that, using a DeSantis Nemesis holster.

    Some of my quick options:
    1. IWB clip-on, XD-45, which I'm wearing now
    2. Paddle holster, XD-45 (the one that comes with the XDm)
    3. IWB clip-on, S&W 5906, RH and LH
    4. Pocket holster, SP-101 .357
    5. Pocket holster, snubby

There's no excuse for me to not be armed as fully as I desire just because I'm in a hurry to dress.

    Options are good.

Except for the neat grips, that's what I'm wearing now and is my usual answer to the question.

+1. I'm just as likely to need it around my house as I am on the way to the store.

You need a reason to get a wheel gun? Isn't wanting one enough?
