Glock 17 Prices
I am new to glocks and was looking around for a good price and came across K-VAR Corporation :: Firearms :: Handguns :: GL1750203 with a price of $462 plus shipping for a glock 17 with 2 17 rd magazines. Is this a good price? Has anyone seen a better price online?

First, welcome to DC and in my opinion that is a very good price. I paid close to 550 for mine over year ago but that was at a local shop though.
How reputable is the dealer you listed? That I cannot answer but that would be my main concern. Not so much the price.

Join GSSF (Glock Sport Shooting Foundation) for $35 - first year, $25 renewal. Then you can purchase one pistol per year at $425 at a participating local dealer near you. That would cost you $425 plus tax plus GSSF membership. I plan on getting a G26 this way. It will end up costing me a grand total of $494 including GSSF. That is the best I have been able to find.
If you buy from K-VAR it will cost you $462 plus shipping - probably about $20 plus it has to be shipped to a FFL holder - around here they charge around $30-$35 fee to accept shipment for you. Pretty close.

I got a G17 Gen 4 for 398 the tax and transfer, I think it was like 453 or something along those lines. That was LEO discount though.

How do you like that Gen 4? I've got a 2nd Gen 19 that I have no intention of getting rid of but have toyed around with the idea of a Gen 4 19.

X2 on the GSSF route, the membership also comes with some good reading material, makes it so you can compete in GSSF matches, and if you so desire opens you up to the eligibility to take the Glock Armorers course. IMO the membership pays for itself before you even use it to purchase a gun. Oh and they throw in a hat and patch too.

I've bought roughly 90%-95% of my guns from Davidson's/Gun Genie. I like having the Lifetime Warranty.
You have to expand your search area to find the best deal (there are some real ripoff artists out there), but the dealer I always go to has the following for a NIB:
Sale Price: $475.00
Addit'l Fees: $22.95
Tax: $33.25
Sub Total: $531.20
DEPOSIT: ($149.75)
BALANCE DUE: $381.45
Accept Offer
The Sub Total is the out the door price. Some dealers charge an extra $5 for the NICS check, but that depends on the dealer. Click the "Instant Quote" button, expand the search area to at least 25 miles and look for the cheapest price. If you like it, then click "Accept Offer". The Deposit value is what goes on your credit card and the rest of the balance due is paid when you pick up the weapon at your FFL. Shipping is pretty fast too. For example, if you order in the morning (M-T), it's usually at the dealer the next day.

The Gen 4 is currently on sale at Davidson's if that's what you were looking for:

Addit'l Fees: $22.95
Tax: $35.70
Sub Total: $568.65
DEPOSIT: ($162.25)
BALANCE DUE: $406.40
