Got my gap floor plates today

And slapped them on! I can't speak to shooting impressions as I haven't shot with them on yet however I can say there's one thing about them I love that has nothing to do with shooting. One thing I generally dis-like about carrying IWB is that it makes the pistol more difficult to draw. Well, when drawing my pistol from my supertuck the gap plate hooks the tip on my right ring finger. I makes the draw not only easier but it feels more solid as it transitions into the palm of my hand. Even if they do nothing for the controlablity while shooting I will keep them on just because of how they improve my draw.

Keep us up to date. Whatever works well for you is a step in the right direction no matter what. Experience takes time. Some of those whom have wished for experience on demand never got the experience nor lived to tell about it. I hope you find what you're looking for.

I use the GAP floor plates on my Glock 27 and I really like them for all the same reasons you mention.

Too light for heavy work, too heavy for light work!

    Sounds like you're good-to-go.

I had GAP plates on my 27. It did indeed help when taking the gun out of the holster, but I think it helped even more when shooting. It seemed to keep the gun on target better and helped with follow up shots.

i wouldn't have a sub glock without them. great product. i tried to destroy one with a vice, vicegrips, and a hammer. i could not break it no matter what i did. it looked bad when i was done but not broken. i would have never believed the abuse it could take, never. so i can say on top of the benefits the gap offers it is nearly indestructable.
