I hate to leave my TRS 1911 behind, but I still consider the G21 as an option.( Hey 13+1 .45acp is not bad).
I plan to carry IWB, but I'm taking along my Thunderwear for shirtless moments, by the pool, or a stroll on the beach.
I've narrowed it down to these:
G19 or G21 as primaries ( or recommend me a mid to full size gun ).
S&W 638-2 .38spl +P or Keltec P 11 9mm (This one went back to the factory, and came back impecable.). pros and cons on this one?
I would take them all, but please pick two, and GIVE ME the reason for your choice. You may enlighten me on somethings I may be missing.
Thanks in advance.

I would take the G19 as a primary and the KT P11 as a BUG.
You will have commonality for ammo so you wont be toting two different kinds. That would be the only reason I would pick the Kel Tec over the S&W and the G19 over the G21.

What do you do with the weapon if you decide to take a dip in the water? Not the kind of thing you want to just tuck under a towel and hope is still there when you return.

I think you already got a good idea on what needs to be done.

Hard to beat the 9mm argument. I will not be alone, and I use unorthodox off body carry methods if "dipping" in the water away from my firearm is in the agenda. Empty large potato chip bags, carrying case shaped like a book case, folded towell, one that would keep my "compact" closer to me, etc... ( can't give them all away right?, Lol).
I thought the wheel gun for reliability, and in case my significant other has the need for one, she likes the J frame trigger, a lot better than the P11. ( nothing that a couple of boxes of practice before we go couldn't fix.).

I would take these two for the same reasons

A Glock-19 is a little less bulky, and the S&W 638, which is a tad smaller than the KelTec...at the beach I'd put the firearms in a plastic bag to keep out the sand.
