I just got my new Crimson Trace laser grips in today. Installed perfectly, no problems. Worked great, very happy. The grips cost $299 at Crimson Trace, but Charter will sell them to you for $199, a great bargain. They fit almost all the Charter family of pistols, as the grips are all the same.
The only negative is the batteries (which, thankfully, are really cheap). They last about 4 hours with continual use, but the grips have a micro-switch on the butt of the grips. If you leave them on, the batteries may drain the laser, rendering it useless in case of emergency use. On the other hand, the laser is useless if you have to hold everything up until you can fumble and locate the micro-switch. But on the range, the system should work flawlessly.
