I'm sure you'll love it. I really like my PPK/S, and have never had trouble with biting. My particular gun has bitten others though, so I guess it just depends on how you grip the gun. I naturally grip in such a way that the slide never catches me.

Be sure to test out the ammo you plan to carry! The PP-series is notoriously picky when it comes to JHP, especially the Interarms models like mine.

    Ruger 10/22
    Remington 870 Express 20ga.

MIght want to wear a glove, or at least put a bandaid in the web of your firing hand... I hear PPK have a tendency towards biting.
The old ones "love bite"...the beaver tail cured that...personally this one has never bitten me...think it has to do with the size of the hand...my hand is thin at web.

I ran all the types of ammo I had through it today, the only issue I had was one failure to feed with a handload I got from the range. All the factory ammo shot fine. I have to say I'm very pleased with it so far, I believe I put about 120 rounds through it today. The only other issue I had at the range today is with another shooter. I've seen him there before but we'd never spoke other than in passing, he started talking to me about the PPK, how he'd had one but let it get away, one thing lead to another and he let me fire his Wilson 45, I'd never fired a Wilson, this is both a good and bad thing, cuz now I'm thinking....
