    1947 FBI revolver training film

    This has probably been mentioned here before but I found it fascinating. Found it by googling "FBI guns"
    Notice the emphasis on quick draw. It also appears they had speedloaders then or full moon clips which surprised me.
    Notice the Colt Police positive .38's.

    Thanks Bark'n for correcting the link.
    That wasn't a speedloader....just a splice in the original film. They were loading rounds singly.

    Very interesting. DA for close and fast, SA for longer range. Did you see how fast that one guy was shucking a shotgun? The shells were coming out (fired) while the gun was still recoiling. Then there was they guy that was shucking out live rounds - I suspect he washed out. Thanks for sharing.
