scratched my PM9 slide. any magic?

I scratched the finish on my black PM9 slide. Is there any magic tricks to fix it like that stuff they sell on TV to take out the scratches in your cars paint? I'm bummed!

I rub on a little molyslide paste with a rag then again with a damp rag on my pm9
if that doesnt work you may want to email kahr or a knife company that uses the dlc tungsten coating like kershaw or maybe a knife or kahr forum if you dont get the answer your looking for here here

Touch it up with a black marker and call it 'good'.

I have come to grips that my defensive carry gun will see some scuffs and wear. As long as it doesn't rust, I donakt worry much. However, I am sending it off to be Cera-Hide coated by CCR Refinishing. Very durable against scratches and corrosion.

Adds charater to the piece. Then again you could do as retsupt99 suggested. Majic marker works wonders.

The Kahr shouldn't rust even if scratched. It is a stainless steel slide that has been blackened. But I know, you're concerned about cosmetics.

I was wondering about the durability of the blackened slides myself as this was the model I was thinking about getting. I think I'll opt for the stainless (silver) finish when I get mine.

The member is asking for help and advice in a forum thread that is not in Off Topic & Humor.

Let's try not to veer the thread too off topic with humorous comments.

    Thanks.

maybe you could look into buying DURACOAT finish for the gun.
    Manufacturer of DuraCoat Firearms Finishes
maybe a small amount on the scratch and hopfully it won't bother you as much .. Just a suggestion. BTW, I'm sure the finish will wear as time progresses. The gun will grow a certain amount of Charactor to it over time.
Best of luck in any case.

You could try with one of the Birchwood Casey Touch Up Pens.

Birchwood Casey Super Black Touch Up Pen Flat - MidwayUSA

I'm not sure what the finish is like on the Kahr but they also have a gloss black pen as well.

I've seen small touch ups with them and they look good. I ordred one for myself a few days ago as my Sig got a couple of small knicks on the trigger guard but it hasn't arrived yet so I have no personal experience with it yet.
