    My new Pocket Nine

I just wanted to post here about the gun that I picked up today. It is a Colt Pocket nine.It is very small and will be a great gun to carry all day.It weighs in at 17oz.I have a pair of wooden grips on the way because I hate rubber grips on a carry gun.I can't wait to shoot this darn thing.

Where the heck did you find that gun?? VERY collectable and a great CCW gun. It was produced in 1999 and ended production due to a lawsuit by Kahr Arms for patent enfringment.......GREAT FIND! Not many of those around and it carrys a hefty pricetag. I hope you bought it for a good price.. I LOVE to hear of people who find things like this little gun! Let us know how it shoots!

I traded my S&W CS45 for it.I did have a bit into the CS45 so I think we are both happy.I made the trade on the S&W forum. It does seem to be a perfect carry gun.

You did WAYYYYYYY BETTER !!! The CS45 is a little on the big side. Besides, if you swapped even (or a little money going his way) you still got a great deal, and yes, the person got a good deal on his end also, as the Smith CS45 isn't that common anymore.

I have an early CS9, without the ambi-safety, and in stainless. My Thunderwear loves that gun all day long. I would love one of those "Ponies", but nothing is cheap any more.

One thing I like about the CS9 compared to the "Pocket 9" is the trigger. It will probably take some time to get used to something that heavy.

Hope you enjoy it, I hate it that somebody has the CS.45, and is not me.

The trigger on my Pocket Nine is lighter than the trigger that was on my CS45.But there is more take up on this trigger and there is a bit of right to left play on it.

I wish I had not sold mine. I did because of the very long and hard trigger pull. My Seecamp is a 11.5 pull, which is insane. The pocket nine is 15 pull. You can find posts on that issue. It will be a collectable though. Enjoy.
