    South Carolina carry laws

I have a W.V. permit that is honored in South Carolina. Does South Carolina allows "two handguns" to be concealed?.

W.V. license says "pistol and/or revolver". Is two gun carry legal in S.C.?.

I am a "two gun man", but I am not a law breaker!.

    Any information is welcomed.

I don't think SC law specifies number of guns. But don't quote me.

Conceal as many as you want!
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Handgunlaw.us is the place to be sure, but I haven't read any limits on number of carry weapons in SC.

I looked through the handgunlaw.us SC page and couldn't find anything that limits the number of guns you can carry.

I looked up the CCW laws on the SLED page and don't see any limits to the number of guns, only limit appears to be size.

Since my permit implies in writing a "concealed pistol and/or revolver", I will take my pair with me, and ask the first LEO I see.

    Was debating carrying a G 19 or Kel tec P11, but now I'm debating a single " carry everywhere" gun. My G 20C, or my P 229 in .357Sig.

What do ya think? (going to the beach)

One Glock w/extra mag should be sufficent. Hope you get to the beach before the tar balls come up the east coast.

Off topic but I gotta say it:
There's hundreds of miles of coastline that are on the Gulf side of FL and other states with NO contamination. The beaches are open! Talk such as this above is why people are screaming at the mainstream liberal media to stop talking about it and ruining their tourism business.

You may not get the right answer. Many street cops don't fully know the laws. That's why they have Ass. D.A.s and prosecuting attorneys. "What can we charge this guy with?" is a common question asked by the street level cops.

Don't ask a cop about the law... Ask a lawyer...or read the law yourself, keep it concealed and you won't have a problem. Don't invite problems if you are following the law.

By asking a LEO, you'll probably get more opinion than fact...LEOs on this forum are the exception.

Do you think I actually believe tar balls are comeing up the east coast? And the liberal media doesent give a crap who screams at them. This is Christmas in June for them. A chance to bash big oil and capitalism. Enough of that. I just got back from Myrtle Beach and I carried my G27 all week IWB in a Comp-tac C-tac very comfortably with shorts and Ts. Although SC does have the stupid law that you cant carry in restaurants that serve alcohol which is pretty much every restaurant at the beach.

I wouldn't do that; LEOs tend to view such questions as bothersome. Be descreet and you will be fine with your two guns.
