    Finally.... my first !

Picked up a used S&W SW99 in 40cal for $299 at my local gun shop. It's the AS trigger which i was looking for.
It came with case, 2 10rd mags (NY), 3 backstraps, and extra sights with night sights already installed.
I love the feel of it in my hands...(although the mag release is a little weird) but, I find that using my trigger finger to release it is easier.
I'm ordering a Crossbreed as well as a Fobus roto paddle holster for the range.
I'm taking it to the range next week with some friends who also carry.

Looks real clean. Nice pistol. While I have not had the S&W version, I have happily owned and shot the Walther P99 counterpart. I love the AS trigger and the decocker. My only gripe was the width of the slide for EDC use. I am a HUGE Walther fan and carry a 9mm PPS everyday. Great guns! Enjoy your new acquisition. Buy a Walther PPS if one comes along for an irresistible price, you won't regret it.

    Congrats and welcome aboard!

You got a pretty nice price on that too, I had that was DAO and all black and it was $500! You basically found exactly what I wanted but couldn't find a a decent price. Nice score.

I love the way those feel. Pretty soft shooters too.
