    Ruger SR 9C ??

Thinking about taking a look at the Ruger SR 9C and was wondering about the strip down of this gun. Is it simple and does it strip down like the Glock or Springfield?

check out the site, it took me about 7 more seconds to break it down that my Glock 23 I traded in on it :). Its just as reliable and maybe a bit MORE accurate. Plus I can shoot reloads through it and lead(if I wanted)

The strip down is actually quite simple:
1- Verify the gun is empty
2- Lock the slide back & remove magazine
3- push the ejector to the down position (use the eraser end of a pencil)
4- Push out the take down pin
5- let the slide go forward and off the receiver, remove barrel & spring
Done......should take less than 30 seconds!

They break down like an H&K or 1911. They have a lever that pulls out from the frame. I have one in black and it is a good shooter and has a good sight picture. The factory compact magazines are hard to get so far.
