I'd always wondered about drilling and tapping the trigger for an over-travel set screw on an inexpensive pistol...just would have to make sure it is PERMANENTLY set where it should be.
Trigger staging may be important in target shooting, but in a self defense situation when the time comes to pull the trigger, pull the dang trigger and don't mess around with it. Just my way of thinking.

I remember on the KTOG Forum that there was a project to produce an aluminum trigger with built in over travel stop. I have not been on the forum in awhile so I don't know how it is going.
I like your ingenuity , what did you use to secure the erasers? How has it held up under normal wear.. day at the range (Heat, cold)?
