    Ruger LCP W/CT laserguard?

My local shop has some new LCP's in stock and the more I handle these little guns the more I like them. Now they also have the CT laserguards in stock as well and they said I can get a new in box LCP with a CT laserguard for $425 OTD is this a good price?

A LCP goes for around $270 here in CT. The Crimson Trace LaserGuard is around $150 on eBay and various online stores...

I think thats a good price. I got my LCP for $300 plus tax and more recently the laserguard for $160 on ebay.

I paid about $280 plus shipping and transfer fee, but I had to wait several months on backorder to get it. If you want the laser, then it's probably a good deal. The sights on the LCP are very poor, so the laser could give you a nice advantage in some situations. It's more of a point-shooter otherwise.

You can point and shoot out to 7 yards and hit COM very very easily. You gonna shoot an LCP at somebody outside of 21 feet, then you may need the laser. IMHO the laser is overkill.

Thanks guys I really don't "need" the LCP but I want it,is that strange? I guess it is more concealable than my S&W 340PD as its thinner and slightly lighter.

You can't have too many guns.

You don't need it? What does need have to do with pistolas? You want it, you can afford it, get it. Period.

I think lasers are subjective. I put one on my LCP and had to loose the pachmayre slip-on grip. And I was not satisfied. Basically because it felt different in my hand. And, it added a bit more bulk to the gun. I sold the laser after two days.

In my case! if you are 15-20 feet away from me, even without the laser, you are in serious trouble. I've spent enough time with the LCP to be quiet proficient without any assistive technology. But everyone's perception is different.

Good luck with what ever you do.

(ps, I figured the damn battery would be dead if I ever needed it anyway..)
