    Walther P99/P99C opinions

Looking for feedback from owners,i'm looking hard at purchasing one of these and i'm very torn for a number of reasons. I've shot the PPS but fifty dollar mags kind of turn me off,and the capacity as well. I really like the P99/99C more but don't know if i can justify that much more money over a new Glock or something. Is it really worth it is what i'm asking?

    I have both the P99 & the P99c.

Love them both. Fit and finish is great. These pistols just seem to fit the hand better than any others I have.
I carry them in a Kramer QWB scabbard and I just checked, Kramer is still listing this holster for sale.

My brother picked up a very slightly used Walther P99 (full-size) that shoots very well indeed---my only nit-pick would be the somewhat long trigger take-up in single-action shooting---but you get used to it. I just purchased a mint SW99 in .45 ACP---as soon as the waiting period is over, I will take it out shooting. The SW99 series pistols are nothing more than slightly changed Walther P99s.

I own both and they are excellent handguns. The SW99 mags are less expensive and fit the Walthers.

    Love mine

I've had my SW99c for about 9 months and love it. It is very accurate, very smooth, and easily concealable. It just fits my hand perfectly.

Those Walthers are really nice guns. I would love to get a Walther P99 and P99c. Not the Smith and Wesson models but the actual Walther ones.

I used to have a P99 in 40 and loved it. Only sold it because I want one in 9mm instead. Haven't found one yet though.

Used SW99's can be picked up for a steal from Bud's. I've got a P99c, but I've been thinking about getting one of the used SW99's for cheap since I like my Walther so much. One nice thing is the S&W's are warrantied for life.

My experience with the S&W99 makes the lifetime warranty something that is used quite often. Not so the Walther.
