Glad to hear that It would have been devastating to Glock had they discontinued the Gen3 models.

That is excellent to hear because all the bad reports on the Gen 4 Glocks that I see made me hope that the Gen 3 would still be in production.

    Probably wise on their part.

Confirmed by Glock Headquarters; GEN3 to remain in production.

It's a good thing, the Gen3 is excellent. It also helps for resale for existing Gen 3 folks.

It's a bad thing for those wanting to get a huge discount on a new Gen3, though.

Good news for sure. I really want a Glock 19 but not a 4th Generation.

As far as bringing back the 2nd generation I would like to see the 2nd Generation grip brought back with the rail.

Good deal. Takes the pressure off, as I wanted another pair of NIB Gen. 3 Glock 19's.

Any bets on whether Gen. 4 gets dropped entirely?

Gen 4 is the only Glock I didn't get all mushy about when it came out. It does however give an option for people with small hands with the three backstrap options but all the bugs if there are any need to be worked out. Thanks Glockreaper for keeping us Glockheads informed.

This has never been a factor with Glock's. The GEN1/2 consistently fetch higher prices than current production models. It would have been the same way with GEN3. Glock's hold their value very well, no matter what.
