Selling EDG etiquette
Just made my mind up to sell my summer everyday carry gun.
What's proper etiquette for selling it? Is it frowned upon if I post it for sale but still continue to carry it (my gut is telling me it is)?

Its yours till you sell it. You can do whatever you want with it til it is sold. Obviously if the gun's condition changes as a result of your carry or other activities, you would have to disclose that to a potential buyer. Once you sell the gun, you have a duty to the buyer to keep the gun in good shape and ship it/transfer the possession in a timely fashion.

Hmmm, sounds like it I will be putting it away until sold. Thanks.

It's your gun, do with it as you wish. It's no one else's until money is exchanged. And at that point the buyer gets what he paid for.
So unless you advertise it as "New condition," keep on carrying.

If you're selling it..give it a good cleaning/lube and put it aside for it's next owner.

Exactly what I did. If I don't, I'm afraid of Murphy's Law dictating a huge scratch the day before a sale.
