To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women

Did you just trade a Rossi for a Taurus?
They are so closely related I might just call it a Taurus for a Taurus?

I know. But to my knowledge no one sale makes that configuration and I wanted one. I have delt with Taurus a lot in my business and the only issue I have had worth mentioning is turn around time with warranty work.

We have the original Judge by our bed. Loaded with 2 of Federal's new handgun .410 000 shells and three Corbon 230 gr. JHP - in that firing order.

Naw...the .410 kicks about like heavy .357 mag., but the .45 LC rounds are babydolls. The Ribber grips and massive nose-heaviness make it easy to shoot.

I had understood the Public Defender was a plastic (poly) version of the Judge. Am I mistaken?

Not poly - aluminum. They shaved about 15 ounces off the original. The weight distribution is still about the same, though. My Judge kicks like I described. The PD might kick a little more.

Yes. The public defender is all steel. What's different is its a two inch barrel shortened handle and shorter hammer. Shot it today the 45's aren't bad at all. The 000 Buck is a little aggressive, but the pdx1 gave the biggest kick same as a snubbie 357. I would never shoot a plastic frame judge Taurus revolver I like my hands.

I stand corrected. I had (incorrectly) thought you traded for this:
