    Revo question

I was just looking at a S&W 637 online and noticed that there screw holding the grips on was in the opposite position that mine is.

    The question is:

Is there a correct side in which that screw needs to go? Or is it something that doesn't matter?

Right now mines is screwed in from right to left(__<-__) when holding the snubbie barrel away from you.

Pic shown is the opposite of what mines looks like.

There are only threads in one side of the grips. The threads on the screw need to go into those.

Maybe it had a different brand of grips on it.

Thats what I thought. But seeing that pic just made me think. Maybe I'm thinking too much.

I've got J frame Uncle Mike's grips that were made both ways. That is, some have the screw on the left and some have the screw on the right. Be sure to keep a bit of oil on the screw or it will rust.
