Which would you pick in 9mm Glock 19 or 26?

I plan in colder weather to conceal carry the Glock in 9mm, I like the smaller size of the G26, is the size between the G26 and G19 that much difference for appendix carry? And what am I giving up other that a few extra rounds?

I do shoot at least once per month so the Glock will see 1,000 round per year or so. I am leaning toward the G26 for its size, I guess the best way to ask the questions is "if you could only own one 9mm Glock would it be the G19 or th G26?"?

Thanks for your responses in advance.

    G19.

I like the G26, but the G19 is just a better package--for me.

    I have both.
If I had only one it would be the G-26; it will accept the G-19 barrel and the G-19 magazines, so ...

I've owned all three...26,19+17. The 26 has it's advantages for CC, but if I had only one to choose, and planned on shooting 1000 rounds annually, the 19 would get the job.

I own a glock 27 and love the baby glock size but with my smartcarry method the extra barrel length wouldn't affect if i went to the glock 22. With that said more is always better. The bigger the gun, the bigger the amount of ammo in the gun the better. I chose my 9+1 .40 caliber as a compramise that I LOVE, but there is nothing wrong with 9mm. Hope that makes things as clear as mud :)

i own both and find the 19 as easy to conceal as the 26...the only advantage to the 26 is the abillity to throw in a pocket if necessary in my opinion...i'm all for the 19...better handling with the bigger grip...

many put a mag extension on the 26 for their pinky...that makes the grip almost right on size wise with the 19...the barrel length really doesnt have much affect on concealment so i keep talking myself into carrying the 19...

For appendix carry I imagine the 26 would be more comfortable depending on the holster (note: I have a deformity which prevents me from appendix carry, so take this with a grain of salt). I carry a 19 in a CBST at 3:09 and it works great for me. Nice thing with a baby GLOCK is the ability to insert a bigger magazine in a back-up situation.

I'd go with the 19. The 26 is just too small for me. I would probably take a snubby if I wanted something really tiny.

    Cool

I have a G 23 and unless I was thinking of ankle carry there would be no need for a G 27. I carry it in a HighNoon Public Secret holster in the appendix position and am very comfortable with it . I like the grip size of the larger gun and the longer sight radius and extra rounds. You of course will decide what is best for your needs.

I'll take the 26. Because when you carry concealed it carries much better than the G19.

For winter carry in MI, a G19 is fine. Your could probably get away with a 17 that time of year.

go for the G19...it's the better all around choice..the size difference is minimal between the two,not significant enough to choose the G26 over the G19..
