I pocket carry a Smith & Wesson 637 every day I go to work and I forget its there 15 minutes after i slide it in my pocket.

I don't get it when people say that J frames are not easy to pocket carry.

    Kahr P9, or Glock 19 or 26.

Go with a J frame Smith ! They're versatile and can be carried just about anywhere, pocket, belt, ankle, etc.

They are definitely reliable, and a great bargain when it comes to a carry gun.

To me, there is no finer pocket carry than a S&W Airweight, or the new Ruger LCR. Both will handle 38+p.

The sky is the limit albeit your preference of caliber and platform. I’m a revolver guy these days’ and I haven’t been happy with any pocket carry of short barreled lightweight revolvers. Now, it most certainly can be done if it feels right for you. My front pocket(s) is prime real estate for things I use more often.

My standard carry gun is a Glock 19, carried OWB w/ 2 spare mags. My backup/ just going around the corner gun is a Kel Tec P3AT, pocket carry w/ spare mag in the other pocket. Just remember that there is a cost associated with all guns. Smaller guns cost in caliber and sometimes shootability. Larger guns cost in weight and concealability. I suggest to get what fits your hand and that you can shoot well then learn how to effectively conceal it.
