Question Duty 9mm for my armed security team

Recently just hired as Executive Security Manager, Our President and CEO wants the security staff armed. He choose the 9mm. He wants everyone on the staff to carry the same gun but without excessive cost. He is a former Navy man who was a gunners mate. He had me put together a list of guns. Here are the ones selected:

    Ruger SR-9
    Taurus 24/7 Pro
    S W Sigma
    CZ-75b
    Springfield Armory XD-9
    Witness P Carry

The ammo to be carried is by Speer Gold Dot 124 grn JHP +P
I will be meeting with my guys to make final selection then submit all info to our boss for approval and then place the order.

I would like to ask your alls opinion and thoughts as to which one. Also like to tak it to the polls.

The CZ75, for its ability to be carried either cocked + locked, or hammer down as a traditional DA. That. plus the 15+1 capacity, affordable cost and its ruggedness as a sidearm designed for military use make it a winner.

Of your listed choices, I agree with Don Glock on the CZ 75B (and would consider it a top contender among any lineup). I'm a bit surprised, though, not to see the Glock 17 and the Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm on your list, especially given that the Sigma and 24/7 are.

You stated that he had YOU put together a list. You have a picture of a Glock as your avatar, yet Glock is not on the list?

Of those listed, the CZ. I, like Seraph, am a little surprised the Glock or M&P are not on your list. If they were, then my vote would be Glock G17.

I personally would prefer either a glock or M&P but of those listed I would also go with the CZ.

CZ-75 is a great weapon. However, the Glock 17 or Smith & Wesson M&P are pretty much standards in LE/Security. Why aren't they on your list?

Of that group, either the CZ or SA. Taurus should be removed from the list as not to contaminate the others.

thats a loser list, except the CZ.....Glock or M&P is the obvious, cost effective choice....the others shouldn't be considered. I think the edge goes to Glock due to parts, mags etc. Whomever brought up the sigma should be ashamed.

I agree with those questioning the lack of a Glock or M&P given the price point of the guns listed. I'm a LEO, I buy my own guns, and from the list posted I might consider the S.A. XD since it has good factory support but I'd prefer something like the Glock or M&P for not only the support but the available holsters and accessories. CZ's have a good rep but are uncommon as LE carry guns in the U.S..
