Never owned one, but I looked at them REAL hard in the '70's. I ended up with a PPK/s instead, and later a Beretta M84 (and later still a SIG P232), but always kinda wished I had picked up an HSC. It's a cool pistol, and seemed to be of comparable quality to the Beretta or the Walther.

    Just my $.02.

    Regards,
    Jim

P.S. - What sort of prices are you seeing for them?

Had the choice of the Mauser or the PPK/S in the 70's. Picked the Walther and ended up selling it. I recently saw Mausers at Cabella's identified as a Italian handgun imported from Germany. Had plastic grips though. New ITB. Very tempting.

Owned one - great shooter - traded for something else, but don't remember for what or why.
