    Looking for a .45acp

Need some help here. I'm looking for a CHEAP, HEAVY, FULL SIZED .45acp auto.

I'm looking to see if I haven't left any out of my search pattern.

    Thanks

My EDC is a Glock-36, and I love it.
It's not that heavy, but it always goes 'bang'.

The 26 and the 36 are cousins.

Well then, you'll want this lil' jewel. Colt Combat Commander. It meets your criteria. One solid, reliable hunk of steel.

It doesn't have to be a colt. Just something heavy as hell, on the cheaper end of the spectrum that I can take to the range.

Then check out a Rock Island Armory 1911. That's the one you're looking for. DON'T get a Taurus. Hopefully the fan club didn't hear me say this.

I just got a Para GI Expert for $530. It had a few extra features the Springfield didn't, and was cheaper. I've only had 100 rounds through it so far, but I really like it. They also offer it in SS. My carry gun is a G21, and the 1911 actually feels kinda small and light!

Hey Sarge, I'm right with you on the "No Taurus" suggestion! They'll have to get us both!

I got my Springfield armory 1911 A-1 GI for around $400. At that price, you could afford a good holster, night sights, etc...
