Handled one today in Southwest Arizona. $489.00 price tag. (In line with their prices for a LCP & CT laser) Feels better then my LCP and looks good, for a little pocket pistol.

Hey, option, choices and competition is good for the consumer/shooter/CCW buyer. I like all guns and love some others so when a company like S&W rolls out new carry handguns its good for us all.......except our bank accounts! Keep um comming.

The price for the .380 is inline with other similar offerings with a CT laser and I bet the asking price goes down relatively soon when the initial fever goes away.

I guess that isn't a horrible price considering it has a laser built in. I might have to get one, I like the looks of it. Need to hear a couple reports first though.

Whew...no offense, but the .380 is FUGLY.

Of course, it's a Smith, so it'll probably work great, but I'm thinking it might be hard to beat a 642.

I sold one yesterday at the Store. the gun feels good, just a tad bigger than the LCP, probably due to the Laser on the front of the gun. Felt good in my hands, as I had to do the NICS for the Customer who purchased it. I found a Uncle Mike's pocket holster for him, that fit pretty good on the gun. The holster was for a 9mm/40 cal gun, yet the grip frame of the S&W protruded just enough to get it out of the holster and into his (the Customer's hands) Quality looks good I think it was 379.95 when it left the Store

I have one but have only shot 50 rounds through it with no problems and I like it. It is very well made and nice quality. As with all DAO this one has a long heavy trigger pull, but it is very smooth. Recoil on it to me is very minimal, much tamer than when shooting the LCP. Weight fully loaded with 95gr FMJ 6+1 is 14.7 ounces. This thing is also very thin. This to me is a very nice *pocket* gun if someone is looking for one. God Bless :)
